Studio Expectations

Our Studio Expectations are below ~ for both students and parents!

Can't find what you're looking for? Contact us and we'll be happy to help!

Attendance

  • Students who attend regularly and show respect for themselves and others grow both as dancers and individuals. Our teachers are committed to creating a fun, safe environment where every child can thrive.

Studio Space

  • Please respect studio property and clean up your area after class. Snacks and drinks should be thrown away when finished. Street shoes are not allowed on the dance floor. Dancers should store bags in the cubbies to keep seating available for observers.

Absences

  • If a student misses class it is their responsibility to make-up the lesson. They are able to attend other classes to make-up their missed lesson but it must be approved by the instructor. They can’t make-up classes during the months of April and May.

Drop Off & Pick Up

  • We will not be monitoring the exit door. It is the parents responsibility to make sure they are at the studio when class is over to pick-up their dancer. Please make sure your child knows who he or she is riding with or getting picked up by if carpooling.

Weather Cancellations

  • If NIDA staff determines that weather conditions make travel unsafe in our area, classes will be canceled for that evening. A decision will be made by 2:00 PM, and all cancellations will be communicated via text. Please ensure you are subscribed to our text alerts to receive these updates.

Observing Class

  • Parents are welcome to stay at the studio while their child is in class, but parents are not permitted to enter the dance studios during or between classes. Seating, tables, and Wi-Fi are available for your convenience. Please supervise any young children who may be accompanying you.
